#15 Pay off the blue car

I don't have a picture for this one because you can google a picture of a 2013 Blue Chevy Spark for yourself...

We paid off our little blue car! That means we own all 3 of our cars! (Why we have 3 cars...I may never understand.) I thought it would take a few more months to get this one taken care of but somehow we pulled it off in February.

Happy dance!

#23 Try Paddleboarding

I tried paddle boarding even though I was terrified of it! I've seen people post pictures on their Facebook of them paddle boarding and it looks super cool. Like the "hey that looks awesome and I want to do that so I can be like the cool kids" kind of cool. But I suppose it looked sort of fun, too.

While we were in the Keys I got to try it! Our little hotel/resort had rentals so we spend a good hour paddling around.

After an hour I thought I was even pretty good at it.

Christian may or may not have sat like this the entire time...

I would do this again...and again...and probably another time after that. It was that much fun!

#9 Go on a road trip or vacation

Christian surprised me with a Florida Keys vacation on my birthday (well, he told me about it on my birthday)! So that was easy to check off my list. Though, I really meant to go to North Carolina or Nauvoo when I wrote this goal on my list. But the Keys works just as well...or better!!

We. Had. A. BLAST! I missed the kids like crazy (...oh, and did I mention they stayed with their grandparents?! No diaper changing on MY vacation!)

I wrote all about it on the family blog.

I still would love to go to Nauvoo this summer. So who knows. Maybe there will be a road trip for me this year, too.

#26 Dye my hair PURPLE

I've ALWAYS wanted to dye my hair purple. Well, I finally did it! What held me back all through my teen years and young adult years, until now, was the bleaching process. I was too afraid to ruin my dark brown hair. But I talked to my sister and finally decided to go for it. I had Hayley help since she has been bleaching and dying her hair for years.

Hayley did the first to rounds of bleach. I was disappointed to see that my hair didn't make it to light blonde in those 2 hours (total). But it definitely was lighter. Hayley had to leave to get engaged and go back to school (YAY! MY SISTER IS ENGAGED!!), so I had to finish my hair myself.

I had my mom separate my lighter hair from the dark while I was at her house, and then drove home to put the purple in. I've dyed my hair before (black...because I was a poser goth girl for a short time in high school) so this part wasn't new to me.

The purple is really subtle unless I am outside with the natural light on it. The picture below was not edited or brightened at all. I really like how it stands out in the sunlight.

The only disappointing thing is that is faded after only a week and it got purple on the back of my clothes. Hmm...
